Halito! For many years now, healthcare has been a priority for the Choctaw Nation.We have added many new facilities over the years and expanded our services throughout Southeast Oklahoma to ensure the highest quality healthcare is available to our patients.


The Choctaw Nation Health Care Center in Talihina was built in 1999 and is the hub of our health services. Since opening the hospital, Choctaw Nation Health Services has grown at an exceptional rate with the construction of new clinics in Atoka, Broken Bow, Idabel, McAlester,  Stigler and the addition of our newest clinic in Durant.Wellness Centers in Atoka, Broken Bow, Durant, Hugo, Idabel and Crowder are also examples of our dedication to improving the health of our tribal members.Furthermore, services including ophthalmology, orthopedics, cardiology, physical therapy, and a mail-order pharmacy have been added to give our patients convenient access to specialized care.
