Department Nursing Location Talihina, OK Salary Scale Job Description Under the general supervision of the Unit Manager, provides patient care in the Surgery/Orthopedic Clinic as well as assisting in the assessment and planning for individualized patient care to assure patients receive quality care in a timely manner. Communicates with physicians and nursing staff concerning changes in patient’s condition or treatment. Qualification Current LPN licensure in the State of Oklahoma. Current CPR certification required. Must meet the physical demands of the position. Must possess knowledge of medications and dosages used in patient care. Must have knowledge of all aspects of care for the surgery and orthopedic patients. Must possess knowledge of current principles and techniques of asepsis and infection control. Communicates with physicians and nursing staff concerning change in patients condition or treatment. Qualification Current RN licensure in the State of Oklahoma. Experience in an OB/GYN/Nursery setting preferred. Current CPR certification required and fetal monitoring and NRP certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
